ROOTED IN LOVE

A  Bhakti Flow Redwoods Retreat

July 11-14th, 2024

Join us for a long weekend amidst the Northern California Redwoods…

What to Expect

  • Daily Yoga

You’re in for a yoga party baby! Strong, sweaty, and intelligent vinyasa flow practices. Chanting, breathing, quiet meditations, opportunities to practice in new ways, yoga philosophy, asana labs, dancing, and more! Come ready to dive deeper into yoga and life!

  • Wander the Woods

On top of our daily yoga practices, meditations, and chanting practices, we’ll have plenty of time to explore the surrounding woods, rest, connect with other folks, and bathe in the beauty of the ancient redwoods forest. Join us for a transformational long weekend of yoga, music and fellowship.

  • We Are What We Eat

We’ll be nourished by my amazing friends, Gemma and Murray. This couple has been making incredible foods for companies, parties, and individuals for decades. Their food is incredible, but more importantly, this dynamic duo is an embodiment of the sweetest of love. We are fortunate to be nourished by their food and also graced by their presence.

Your Host: Peter Walters

Peter is a student and teacher of yoga and life. Since first finding the practice, he’s felt compelled to share the teachings in a modern, approachable, joyous, and celebratory way. Peter has hosted dozens of retreats and workshops around the world, taught at festivals, and has led public classes in studios and online for over a decade. You can expect to sing, sweat, celebrate, and begin anew. Join us! Learn more about Peter on his instagram or more from his website.

A taste of Place

This retreat center is new and a truly special place. It will be the perfect container for a long weekend of play, song, movement, breath, sharing stories around the fire, and getting to know ourselves and each other more deeply.

+ How do I get to Spirit Camp?

+ What are you doing about Covid-19?

We take your health and safety very seriously. As the COVID situation is ever-evolving, we will follow local recommendations as we get closer to the retreat. While you are welcome to wear a mask during practice, masks will not be required. We will follow all state, federal and international guidelines around the evolving covid situation.

+ What is your cancellation/refund policy?

There is a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. We do understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, but because of our pre-retreat financial obligations to the center, deposits cannot not be refunded. Before you sign up, please make sure this is a retreat you can the make time and space to attend. Full payment is due 90 days before the start of the retreat and is non-refundable. Read more about our cancellation policy here: https://peteryoga.com/cancellations-privacy

+ I'm a beginner at yoga ... is that ok?

Totally! You can always modify your practice, slow down, take rest or just stop if anything feels wrong. The practices should be suitable for most levels of practitioner. That said, Peter’s classes are often strong, sweaty and sometimes fast! We do suggest taking plenty of yoga classes (ideally with Peter!) before attending a retreat. We will have assistants there to support you in your practice.

+ What's the schedule?

We will begin with a practice and dinner on the July 11th, and end with breakfast on the 14th. What happens between those moments will be filled with awesome, joyful, delicious, culturally rich sweaty surprises.

+ What will the food be like?

The food will be so, so, SO good! This is a mostly vegetarian retreat, but fear not, omnivore friends - it will be protein rich, colorful, plentiful and delicious as can be! There will also be tea and coffee in abundance

+ Can I bring my pet or children?

Sadly, we can't allow pets-- and believe me, this makes us very sad. Huckleberry is already crying. Children under 16 who are not participating in the retreat as students unfortunately can't join either.

+ What is/is not included in the cost of registration?

INCLUDED: 3 nights accomodations, dinner on arrival night, 3 meals on Friday and Saturday, and brunch on Sunday morning. 6 Yoga classes, with meditation, breathwork, meditation, nightly campfires and more! NOT INCLUDED: flights, travel to Mendocino, travel insurance, etc.

+ What are the accomodations like?

Rooms are cozy and delightful! You'll either be in shared, solo or BYOTent accomodations. See pictures above to see what accomodations are like!

+ When is my final payment due?

Final payment is due in full 90 days before the retreat start date, or immediately if you sign up within 90 days of the retreat beginning.
