What lesson is available to you in the present moment? No, not just the "present moment generally," but specifically THIS present moment?

Whether you're working, or playing or loving, or hurting or healing or sitting around watching a show...what wisdom can you pluck out of the ether?

When you stop and become quiet and still and observe your present situation without all the clatter and chatter of the brain, what is the teaching that is present just for you?

Can you take in the fullness of Now? This includes the weather outside, the quality of your breath, muscle aches, heart longings, the sounds around your ears, the pulse of blood quietly bounding inside your body.

Perhaps this "lesson" doesn't need a label or to be intellectualized as some specific thing. Maybe the lesson is just slowing down and paying closer attention to everything. We tend to zoom in on the gross, obvious things. A strong emotion, physical pain, a hard decision that's ever present. But I like trying to zoom out to the macro within the space of my awareness right now. It's powerful to breathe into This, without needing to make it right or wrong or wanting it to be different. I try to make peace with the Now. Because, well, it is what it is!

That's it. Sit with it, churn in around, let it in and then let it back out. Let me know your thoughts.
